today, i made heart shaped scones:
i'm a big believer in taking joy in the simple pleasures of life (thanks mum!), and one of those simple pleasures is having a tea party by myself! which is exactly what i did today while eating my heart shaped scones with jam and cream, and sitting at my window watching the rain. it was heavenly! it's amazing how satisfying it is to have all the bits and pieces to make it a real tea party - the creamer, the sugar cubes and sugar tongs, and matching cup and saucer of course. aaah, it makes me happy just thinking about it. why not take 10 minutes and enjoy the simple pleasures today?

I love doing this, having a tea party on my own! It is the most gorgeous thing to do, I'm quite obsessed with tea at the moment. Is there a T2 store anywhere near you? I don't know if I should reccommend it or not - it is a very money- and time-consuming addiction!! haha.
